The Role
What you will actually do
This role is built around conversation quality. Learners come to Play2Learn to speak more naturally and confidently in real-life English during a live game session.
Not game coaching. You are helping learners improve the English they use in real conversations through live play.
Keep real conversation moving
You should be able to ask follow-up questions, listen well, and help shy learners keep talking naturally.
Use a short pre-session plan
Play2Learn provides a simple 3-minute lesson plan before each session to help you start the conversation naturally.
Work remotely around your availability
Take Play Now sessions when you are free and accept scheduled sessions during the times you post. There is no commute or classroom.
Requirements
Who we are looking for
We are screening for clarity, reliability, and game readiness. The goal is simple: Korean players should be able to understand you easily and enjoy speaking with you.
Age 18 or older
Applicants must be adults. Approved tutors provide services as independent contractors and are responsible for their own taxes, legal obligations, and professional conduct in sessions.
Native or near-native spoken English
You must speak clear, natural standard/American English that Korean players can follow easily.
Ranked Gold or higher
You should already be comfortable playing League on PC and confident joining live duo sessions with learners.
Reliable setup and Discord access
You need a stable PC setup, a headset or clear microphone, stable internet, and the ability to receive session coordination through Discord.
Voice sample required
The application includes a short voice sample so we can screen clarity and conversation fit before interviews.
Pay
Start at PHP 200/hour. Grow to PHP 300/hour.
Every approved tutor starts at PHP 200/hour. The hourly tiers are PHP 200, PHP 230, PHP 250, and PHP 300.
Starting rate: PHP 200/hour
All approved tutors begin at PHP 200/hour for completed sessions.
Rate growth: up to PHP 300/hour
Rate increases are based on spoken American/standard English proficiency, reliability, player feedback, and completed session numbers.
Weekly payout straight to your bank
After approval, register a Philippine bank account in your own name during onboarding. Weekly PHP payouts for completed sessions are sent directly to that account. We do not ask for bank details in the application.

PHP 300/hour
Earn this rate through strong spoken English, reliability, player feedback, and a consistent record of completed sessions.
Payout method
Weekly direct bank payout
Provide your own Philippine bank account after approval. Completed-session pay is sent to that account in PHP.
