Play2Learn Tutor Terms & Conditions

Review these Terms and your applicable Compensation Policy before accepting work.

By clicking Claim in Discord, you agree to these Terms and your applicable Compensation Policy, both available through the links provided with the agreement notice. Accepting a Play Again request creates another session under the terms applicable to that session.

Your applicable Compensation Policy forms part of this agreement.

If either document is inaccessible or your assigned Compensation Policy appears incorrect, contact Play2Learn before accepting a session.

Play2Learn provides English conversation practice through shared League of Legends gameplay.

Create a high-energy, encouraging environment where members feel comfortable speaking English. Use open-ended questions, supportive feedback, and the session brief to encourage meaningful conversation.

Adapt to the member’s confidence and ability. Give them time to respond and space to speak. Prioritize their conversation experience throughout the game.

Conduct sessions in English and follow the Tutor Operations guide.

You must be at least 18 and provide accurate information about your identity, location, qualifications, rank, and eligibility to provide services.

The parties intend an independent contractor relationship, subject to applicable law. All mandatory legal rights and obligations remain applicable.

You choose when to make yourself available and which requests to accept. Approval does not guarantee sessions, hours, or earnings. Once you accept a session, you are responsible for delivering it.

Provide and maintain a suitable computer, headset, microphone, and internet connection. You are responsible for your applicable taxes and business obligations, except where the law requires Play2Learn to handle them.

You may undertake other work while protecting confidential information and fulfilling sessions you have accepted.

A session begins when the member and tutor are matched. It includes connecting and preparing to play, champion selection, one League of Legends match, and post-match feedback to the member.

The session ends after the match and feedback are complete. Submit the required session report afterward.

Play Now requests are for members ready to begin immediately. Claim only when you are ready to begin, then open the bot’s DM and follow the session instructions.

Use your assigned P2L account and P2L Voice. Keep League Voice off. Follow the Tutor Operations guide for account access, game setup, member invitations, and session completion.

Deliver each accepted session personally. Do not transfer it to another person, allow someone else to use your tutor access, or accept overlapping sessions.

Compensation for session time is calculated according to your applicable Compensation Policy.

Join P2L Voice as soon as you accept the match, and always within 2 minutes. Join while League updates or other game preparations are running.

Members have 5 minutes from the tutor’s acceptance of the match to join P2L Voice.

Attendance is verified through session records and P2L Voice participation.

Keep the member informed of technical delays. Follow the troubleshooting steps in Tutor Operations. If the issue remains unresolved or you cannot deliver the session, promptly report the session ID, the problem, and the steps you have tried through the designated support contact.

Record unattended or interrupted sessions accurately. Repeated missed sessions, avoidable delays, or failure to communicate may result in a review or restriction of access.

Compensation for absence, waiting time, cancellations, and technical interruptions is governed by your applicable Compensation Policy.

Members may request another session through P2L Voice. Accept only if you are available to continue.

Begin each additional session through the Play Again flow. Follow Tutor Operations to complete the current session, submit its report, and receive confirmation of the next session.

Each continuation is a separate session and requires its own report.

P2L Voice records and processes session audio. You agree to this recording and processing for service delivery, learning reports, quality review, support, and safety.

Use the approved recording system and report failures promptly. Do not disable or bypass recording, or create personal recordings without authorization.

After each session, complete all five report fields:

• Review Next Time
• New Words & Phrases

Reports must accurately reflect the session. Record participation, progress, vocabulary, and review points honestly. If no new vocabulary or specific correction was identified, indicate this in the relevant field.

Play2Learn may use recordings, transcripts, reports, and automated analysis to produce member feedback and session briefs. Automated outputs may be reviewed or corrected.

Public use of identifiable recordings, your voice, image, or likeness for marketing requires separate permission.

Treat members, other tutors, and staff respectfully. Harassment, discrimination, threats, sexual misconduct, abusive language, cheating, and deliberate disruption are prohibited.

Maintain an encouraging tone during wins, losses, and mistakes. Do not shame a member’s English ability or gameplay.

Use judgment with personal or sensitive topics. Change the subject when a member is uncomfortable, and respect their privacy.

Use approved communication tools for service-related contact. Do not request personal contact details, initiate inappropriate personal relationships, or use member access to solicit private paid sessions or divert business away from Play2Learn.

Keep invitations to Play Again friendly and pressure-free.

Use assigned P2L accounts only for authorized sessions. Keep credentials private and leave account security and recovery settings unchanged. Do not lend access or use assigned accounts for personal play.

You may purchase a maximum of one champion per session only if necessary and if the assigned account has sufficient Blue Essence. Do not spend RP, real money, or make other purchases.

Keep member information, session links, credentials, recordings, reports, and internal operating information confidential. Store and handle them only through approved systems.

Report suspected account misuse or unauthorized disclosure promptly. Confidentiality obligations continue after you stop tutoring.

Access your applicable Compensation Policy through View My Compensation in Discord. Your assigned compensation tier determines the rates and payment conditions displayed.

Your Compensation Policy specifies:

• Currency, rates, and how payable session time or work is calculated.
• Minimums, maximums, bonuses, and eligibility requirements, where applicable.
• Payment schedule, payment method, and responsibility for fees.
• Treatment of incomplete sessions, no-shows, cancellations, technical failures, and missing reports.
• How to raise a payment question or dispute.

Play2Learn calculates compensation using that policy and the relevant session records.

Any proposed adjustment or withholding must have an identified reason under the policy and applicable law. You may request a review and provide supporting information. An automated analysis failure or platform fault alone does not establish tutor misconduct or automatically forfeit payment.

Rate and policy changes apply to future work after notice. Compensation already earned remains payable under the terms applicable when it was earned, including after tutoring ends or platform access is removed.

Philippines payouts: Payments are made in PHP through GCash every two weeks when you have completed more than five games. After approval, register your GCash name and number through the designated secure process and keep these details accurate.

Play2Learn processes information needed to operate the service, including tutor identity and contact information, Discord identifiers, qualifications, session activity, recordings, transcripts, reports, and payment records.

Authorized staff and service providers may process this information for service delivery, payments, learning analysis, quality review, support, security, and legal obligations.

Records are retained as reasonably necessary for those purposes and applicable legal requirements. You may request access, correction, or deletion, subject to applicable law and required retention.

You authorize Play2Learn to store, reproduce, edit, and use reports and notes you create for delivering and improving the service. You retain ownership of your pre-existing materials. Public marketing use of your identity or voice requires separate permission.

You may stop accepting new work and notify Play2Learn that you wish to end the relationship. Communicate promptly about any session already accepted.

Play2Learn may restrict or suspend access while investigating safety, fraud, account misuse, serious misconduct, or reliability concerns. Where appropriate, Play2Learn will explain the concern and allow you to respond.

The relationship may end for material breaches, repeated failure to deliver accepted sessions, or operational reasons, subject to applicable law.

Outstanding compensation will be handled under the applicable Compensation Policy. Confidentiality, accrued payment obligations, and provisions intended to survive termination continue to apply.

Raise operational or payment concerns through the designated Discord support contact or info@play2learn.lol. Include relevant session IDs and supporting information.

Both parties will first try to resolve disputes in good faith. Each party retains its non-waivable legal rights and access to appropriate authorities.

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Subject to mandatory applicable law, disputes arising from this Agreement shall be brought before a court of competent jurisdiction in Busan, Republic of Korea.

Play2Learn will identify each version of these Terms and its effective date and provide notice of material changes before they take effect.

Updated Terms and Compensation Policies will be accessible before tutors accept work under them. Changes apply to future sessions; completed work remains governed by the terms applicable to it.

Tutor Operations may be updated to explain changes in tools and procedures. These instructions remain subject to this Agreement and the applicable Compensation Policy.
